Call for Papers

Working on something interesting?
Broke something you probably shouldn't have?
Defended something everyone said was undefendable? Spent months on a problem no one was talking about and came out with something worth saying?
organized by the community
BSides Zadar is organized by the community, for the community.
This is where practitioners share real work with an audience that will actually understand it and isn't afraid to tell you when you're wrong.
We welcome submissions from seasoned speakers and first-timers alike. What matters is substance: a clear idea, honest delivery, and something the room can take away and use. The CFP is open!

WHO SHOULD SUBMIT
Offensive and defensive practitioners, researchers, industry, public sector and students
Real work, honestly presented
Hard-won lessons, things that broke, things that worked, and what others can take away from it.

Everyone who does the actual work
Practitioners, researchers, students, freelancers, public sector professionals, law enforcement. Title and affiliation are irrelevant.

Vendor-neutral content
Companies are welcome to submit, but the stage is for the work, not the product. Leave the pitch deck at the door.

Fear-driven narratives
We're here to build capability, not anxiety. Inform the room, don't alarm it.
Underdeveloped proposals
If the idea isn't ready to be explained clearly, it isn't ready to be submitted.
